Ruth Langsford said’I’m so grateful’ for the coronavirus jab, but initially thought the invitation was a scam.

After getting vaccinated against the coronavirus, Ruth Langsford said he was “thank you so much” for sharing his experience with fans and being able to complete it.

Following the grief over his brother’s death, the Rouge Woman Star, who supported Alex George, tweeted how he was being vaccinated.

She wrote: “I was vaccinated!! Thank you so much. I didn’t know to answer the phone until March, so I thought it was a scam message at first!

“Thanks to all the staff and volunteers at the vaccination center in Walton-On-Thames, Surrey. It’s a quick, well organized and very friendly experience.” [sic] Ruth said.

Another Twitter user wrote: “I look forward to seeing you and Eamonn again on TV #ThisMorning next week with great news Ruth.”

The third follower said: “Today I too am lucky that the Ruth (we are the same age!) vaccination rollout is going so well?” [sic]

Ruth’s vaccination comes after it is revealed that she and her husband, Eamonn Holmes, will be returning This Morning as hosts next week.

The two with an intense fitness regime will resume their role from Monday, February 15th to Friday, February 19th.

Ruth and Eamonn, 61, will enjoy a semiannual break on behalf of Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby for a week.

Their return was confirmed during the advertising time of the episode where the trailer for the couple hosting the show was screened on Wednesday, February 10th.

The duo hosted the show last Friday this morning on December 18, last year after being replaced by new hosts Alison Hammond and Dermot O’Leary.
