Laura, who recently said it was “hard” to be an influencer, now confesses her guilt as responding to fan assumptions about herself in a series of videos about her Instagram story.

She replied to the assumption: “I feel guilty about being in Dubai while the UK is sealed off. [sic]

Lauren, who opened the door to 1.4 million followers, sat in bed in brown fluffy clothes. “Oh my god. I felt guilty all along. No one knew how nervous and how fast I was going to be. So it was terrible to hear that people were angry at home.”

Laura added above the video: “The backlash was terrible and it still is. I don’t expect anyone to understand my situation.

“I apologize to everyone who is angry with me. It truly means because air wasn’t my intention. I sincerely felt that this was the only coping mechanism as a single volunteer.” [sic]

Laura explained: “Yes. It has become a trend, but it means you lived there before Love Island.

Above the video, she added: “I left before level 4 started on the 26th because I wanted to see my family, not alone during the holidays.

“I’m trying to start a business there (I’m not ready to share it), but that’s what I was doing. It doesn’t affect me and I can do it almost anywhere depending on the brand.”
