Emmerdale’s real couple Mark Jordon and Laura Norton had their first children together.
The Soap Star couple shared exciting news on Instagram that they had welcomed their son and revealed his name.
The two shared a series of adorable newborn snapshots, and Laura, 37, wrote with them: “So, on Friday, January 29th at 1:30am we were able to bring this little champion to the world. .
“It was and is probably the most amazing and surreal experience I’ve ever had.
“He’s perfect and we’re all happy to welcome him as a family. Jesse Jordon We are all in love with you.
“@Daddyjordon You were your best childbirth partner and you would never have been united without you and @roh_birthcentre is amazing!! All the girls except the superhero midwife Amy.”
The sweet pair, named by their son Jesse, heard exciting news and was congratulated by friends, fans and co-stars.
Emmerdale actress Fiona Wade wrote the acclaim, “Sooo beautiful darling!! I am so happy to you!” [sic]
And Mimi Slinger said, “Congratulations! He’s so lovely,” and a love heart emoji followed.
Laura shared a snapshot of young Jesse wearing a blue knitted hat, and in another image she was holding him while at home.
In the next snap we see mom and dad in separate hugs with their adorable newborn baby.
Mark also shared a proud snapshot of his wife and son: “I am so proud to announce that @laura_norts has a beautiful baby on Friday, January 29th at 1:30am.
“Both men, weighing 8lbs 10oz, came home that day. Thank you very much to the wonderful midwife @roh_birthcentre. Welcome to the world of Jesse Jordon.”
Laura and Mark had to spend 2020 planning their dream wedding, but as a surprise addition to the impending family, these plans were firmly put on hold.
“Now there will be a baby shower before the wedding,” laughed Mark and Laura exclusively revealing exciting baby news. Confirm! last year.
Laura learned that she was expecting four days before returning to Emmerdale after the lockdown had eased.
Fans have been wondering where her character Kerry Wyatt has been in the last few months, but now you’ll find there’s a good reason for her absence!
She and Mark met when they joined Soap in 2014, and played her future brother-in-law Daz Spencer.
